This year’s Daylesford Pride Parade and Carnival theme will be: ALL THINGS BIRTHDAY.
This is by far the best celebration of LGBTIQA+ pride on show in regional Victoria so come along and enjoy.
There is always a prize for the best effort from a community group, individual or organisation.
SUNDAY: Motafrenz members will participate in the ChillOut Pride Parade and then head to the Carnival at Victoria Park Show grounds for the Motafrenz vehicle display. Come along, enjoy the day and our company and help us promote Motafrenz to our LGBTIQA+ friends and family. You may choose to only be involved with your vehicle in the Parade or Carnival. Open top cars will no doubt be sort after by celebrities and competition winners from the various ChillOut events.
At the Carnival, Motafrenz will be displaying just inside the main gate in the afternoon shade of large trees.
SUNDAY EVENTING BARBECUE: Held at a local bed and breakfast where many members will be staying for the long weekend. Come and join us as we wind down from a hectic day of fun.
SATURDAY DRIVE: The day before ChillOut Parade and Carnival, there will also be a fabulous Saturday drive and lunch visiting some very interesting places in the region. You will certainly be amazed, delighted and entertained by this Saturday drive where we will take morning tea at a members place, get lost in an amazing house, taste some wonderful organic wines and enjoy lunch out of town.
VEHICLE PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: If you are participating with your vehicle in the ChillOut Pride Parade, you must provide in advance:
Driver's Name, Licence Number and Expiry date.
Vehicle description, year and Licence Plate Number

Note that there is likely to be a restriction on the number of vehicles allowed in the parade due to the popularity of this event but not likely for the Carnival.
As usual, we will be meeting in Duke Street Daylesford near the corner of Central Springs Rd by 9:30 SHARP. The Parade will begin at 10:30am SHARP, completes a couple of laps of the main shopping precinct and commences back up into Duke Street, however we are generally directed straight out in to the main road. Please follow instructions on the day.
Soon after the parade, you are free to leave the assembly area and continue to to Carnival at Victoria Park. A twenty minute walk for those on foot. Motafrenz carnival display vehicles and leave via the main front gate of the show grounds where we will regroup and await official entry for vehicles already listed for display in to the carnal. Please be mindful that as the grounds are for public assembly, and anyone wishing to move their vehicle before the carnival is over, must seek support from a ChillOut official.
RSVP Jeff W for attendance for the Saturday drive, ChillOut Parade participation, ChillOut Carnival participation or joining the crew for the Monday barbecue.
SAFETY FIRST: Police will be present at the ChillOut Street Parade and members of the Moorabool Highway Patrol Unit will also be in attendance and will be issuing penalty notices to any person disregarding the Road Safety Act. This is for your own safety and that of all participants.
So, please wear your seatbelts and if riding a motorbike, please wear your helmet (this includes pillion passengers).
Note that there is no safety barrier between the Parade and the punters so be extremely mindful of their safety particularly when doing the U turns in the Parade as there will by babies literally at the foot of your wheels.
