Monthly Event – Third Thursday of Every Month - Slot Car Racing - join the Motafrenz Grand Prix.

A light-hearted, fun evening of racing at Melbourne Model Raceway. Between 7:30 PM and 8 PM the track will be open for practice for you to get acquainted with the cars and track. From 8 PM everyone will participate in five races of four minute duration. Racing should be completed by 9:30 PM. If enough people want to stay on, we will run another series of five races. Free Tea and coffee, BYO soft drinks. Space in the venue is limited and the event is restricted to 12 competitors; so RSVP early to secure your grid spot. Remember, skill levels will vary and the main thing is to enjoy the participation and camaraderie. Dates are:-

PLACE: Ged’s Melbourne Model Raceway. 13 Milton Crescent, Preston. Please park in the Safeway Car Park. Ring the bell above the side doorway when you arrive.

TIME: 7:30pm for an 8:00pm start

COST: $20 per person for the night - for hire of track and cars
