General Business items for discussion at the Annual General Meeting
If any member has any business or special resolution for discussion at the Annual General Meeting could you please email that information to the Secretary, Gordon Campbell at . Any item received will be included in the Notice of the AGM, which will be issued to members by early July. This is in accordance with the Club’s Constitution, sections 30 and 33. It's that time of the year again. The Annual General Meeting of the Motafrenz Car Club Inc. will be held on Sunday 23rd July 2017 at the Victorian Historic Racing Register’s (VHRR) Clubrooms, 30-32 Lexton Road, Box Hill North, VIC (Link to location here).
Come early for a Free* BBQ Breakfast and coffee, and do some garage talk with your Motafrenz. If you have a car on club plates, you can also get it inspected by the Club Permit Officer (a requirement to keep your club permit). Bring your special vehicle(there's plenty of parking) and you could win the People’s Choice Award.

If you are not attending the AGM you can appoint a Proxy by completing the enclosed Appointment of Proxy Form (see links below). You can also nominate people for Committee positions by completing a Nomination Form (which appears at the bottom of the Appointment of Proxy Form). Nominations for Committee positions for 2017-2018 can be made from the floor, provided that the person being nominated is present at the Meeting. If the person being nominated is not present at the meeting then they can be nominated by completing a Nomination Form.
Think about standing for a position so you can help Motafrenz to achieve even more in the future.
The Business of the AGM shall be:
1-To confirm the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting; and
2-To receive from the Committee the reports upon the transactions of the Association (the Club) during the last preceding financial year; and
3-To elect the officers of the Association (the Club)
4-General Business items for discussion (see requirement above about messaging the Secretary)
COST: no charge for attending the AGM. *FREE BBQ Brekkie and Lunch for financial members. Lunch includes main course, dessert, coffee and tea. Lunch for non-Members: $20.00.
You can join or renew your membership before the AGM here or, if you prefer, you can also join or renew your membership on the day. We accept payments with Eftpos at our events (where the Treasurer or other authorised Committee Members attend).
