Description:
Tulip Festival - Turkish Week

Tulips are magic for so many reasons, their exotic majesty a reflection of nature’s miraculous beauty. They encompass every colour from dazzling to delicate hues in patterns most daring and others most plain. They are the stuff of legend, and rumoured to be the sleeping cradles of the fairies. They are even said to have their origin in the blood of a star crossed lover.

Turkey hosted the world’s first Tulip Festival more than 400 years ago. The love for the tulip and the tradition is still strong in Victoria today. The Tesselaar Tulip Festival - Turkish Weekend is a showcase of Turkish culture.  A huge range of entertainment all in the colourful surrounds of the tulips.

With more than a hundred performers it is a colourful and exciting weekend.
Afterwards we will gather  for a Cheap Eats dinner at a venue to be determined by group consensus.
